Sea Scout Ship 1942 goes sailing between the months of March and October. During the summer, we do most of our on the water training and week long camps, including Camp Able, Lifeguard Camp, and Long Cruise.

Not only are we active in the summer, but we stay busy during the winter months too.  In early December, we participate in the Parade of Lights, a fun opportunity to decorate our boats and promote Sea Scouting. Then in late December, 1942 has a Holiday Party up in the Appalachian Mountians, and Santa comes to visit!! We also go to two Regional events in the winter. Catoctin Winter Training, and the Northeast Regional Bridge of Honor and Ball. Both activities are extremely fun and attendance very highly recommended because you do not want to miss out!!
